Pinnacle Cup returns to CS:GO, with multiple events planned throughout 2023.

Pinnacle Cup is returning to CS:GO with the continuation of the tournament series after a mini hiatus. There are multiple events planned throughout the year, including a newly established Brazilian circuit.

In partnership with GRID, the game data platform, Pinnacle Cup will continue where it left off in Lund (Pinnacle Cup Championship), and will feature four additional online tournaments, including two dedicated Brazilian events. Both top tier and up and coming teams will return, with each tournament hosting a Swiss and a Playoff stage. The headline tournaments (Pinnacle Cup 5 and 6) will feature a Play-In stage where teams of all skill levels can compete to play for a $50,000 prize pool.

In addition, Pinnacle will continue working with GRID, the tournaments’ official data partner, and production partner Eden Esports. Both brands have established partnerships with Pinnacle and have helped deliver exciting tournaments such as the Pinnacle Cup Championship and Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes.

The competition will be broadcast online on the Pinnacle Twitch channels (Twitch.tv/Pinnacle, Twitch.tv/Pinnacle_RU, and Twitch.tv/Pinnacle_BR) as well as by influencers and community streamers within the esports community. The winners from each Swiss stage will progress through to the Playoffs, where four additional direct invitees will enter for their chance to take home the coveted prize.

Pinnacle will once again offer odds across all pre-match and in-play betting markets, and special player props, a feature unique to the Pinnacle Cup.

Alex McBride, Head of Esports, of Pinnacle;

"We are delighted to be back hosting Pinnacle Cup events for CS:GO. Having previously announced our Dota 2 series, this adds to the positive impact we are hoping to achieve across esports. These events will give teams at the top of their game, as well as aspiring teams trying to break into the elite tier, a chance to prove themselves."

Christian Raykoff, Regional Manager - LATAM of Pinnacle also said:

"In 2023 we aim to localise everything that we do in Latin America, especially in countries such as Brazil, where we see such passion and excitement for Pinnacle and esports, in order to provide the most unique viewing experience for the community."

Harry Wiggett, Head of Sponsorships of GRID:

"GRID is thrilled to welcome Pinnacle back for another year of Esports Solutions as a service. After a successful 2022 full of CS:GO action, including the 250,000 USD arena finals in Sweden, we are excited to take what we have learned together and bring Pinnacle Cup back to the community and market.

GRID provides Pinnacle with Esports Solutions, a complete technology and service toolkit consisting of tournament tooling, visualisation products, and data infrastructure that support the operation, integrity, security, and monetization of events available on the GRID Data Platform."
