Announcing the Pinnacle Cup Championship

Pinnacle, the original pioneer of esports betting, alongside GRID Esports, the first-party esports and gaming data platform, and the City of Lund in partnership with Black Molly Entertainment, a creative esports production collective, will bring the Pinnacle Cup Championship to Lund, Sweden, from June 8 to 11, 2022.

The culmination of Pinnacle’s flagship CS:GO tournament series will take place in the Sparbanken Skåne Arena in front of up to 7,500 fans over the course of the event.

The Pinnacle Cup Championship will feature some of the world’s best teams in a four-day LAN competition, where eight teams will battle it out for a share of the $250,000 prize pool. The first three invited teams are:

Pinnacle and GRID Esports partnered in 2019 and since then have delivered two iterations of Pinnacle’s successful CS:GO tournament. The upcoming finals will be the largest event in the partnership’s history and the conclusion to all of the Pinnacle Cup CS:GO tournaments hosted over the last two years. An additional two online Pinnacle Cups will be played prior to the Pinnacle Cup Championship in Lund, Sweden.

The event is planned in cooperation with the City of Lund with a goal to provide a world-class viewing experience outside of the capital city. GRID and Pinnacle have selected Black Molly Entertainment, a Swedish-based creative collective, to lead the organisation of the tournament.
